What's new in PeerClock

Every notable change shipped in PeerClock, newest first.

Improvementv0.22· May 7, 2026

Per-slot tooltip in Overlap shows who & what blocks each 15 min

  • Hovering an Overlap hour now breaks the hour into 15-minute slots and lists, per slot, every member that's busy and the exact event title and time blocking them.
  • Each blocking event in the tooltip is clickable to open the event details for editing.
  • Tooltip still previews who will be invited if you click the slot, with the duration you've picked.
Improvementv0.21· May 7, 2026

Live per-guest availability & actionable invites

  • The event dialog now recomputes each guest's availability live as events, RSVPs and exceptions change while you're editing.
  • Guests are grouped by reason — busy with another event, outside their hours, or the time crosses midnight in their timezone.
  • Invite, update and removal notifications now carry a deep link that opens the event straight from the bell, ready to RSVP.
Featurev0.20· May 7, 2026

Server-side guest validation in the main event editor

  • Saving an event now runs a server-side check against every invitee's weekly windows, exceptions and existing busy events.
  • Conflicts are blocked with a clear message naming the guest and the reason, so you never schedule outside someone's availability.
  • Notifications fire automatically on invite, update and removal with a link back to the event.
Improvementv0.19· May 7, 2026

Realtime everywhere & smarter booking

  • Events and RSVPs now sync in realtime across the dashboard and member views — no refresh needed.
  • Public booking dialog re-checks the host's slots live as new events or exceptions land, and clears your selection if it's no longer free.
  • Notification bell now navigates internally with the router instead of reloading the page.
Featurev0.18· May 7, 2026

Recurring availability, exceptions & public booking

  • Define weekly availability windows per day with as many slots as you need; everything outside is treated as unavailable.
  • Add date-specific exceptions: mark a day off, or override a single day's hours without touching your weekly pattern.
  • New 'Book a time' dialog lets teammates reserve an open slot on someone's calendar, validated server-side against live conflicts.
  • Notifications bell surfaces invites, RSVPs and booking activity from anywhere in the app.
Improvementv0.15· May 5, 2026

Targeted invites with unique user codes

  • Each user now has a unique identification code visible in Settings — copy it to share with an admin.
  • Inviting a teammate now requires their email AND their unique code, so only that exact person can accept.
  • Updated the FAQ to clarify that an account belongs to one organization at a time.
Featurev0.14· May 5, 2026

Share invite link & availability preview

  • New 'Share invite link on save' option in the event dialog: copies a link to the event to your clipboard so you can paste it anywhere.
  • Live availability preview shows which selected guests are working during the chosen window and which fall outside their hours — updates as you change start/end.
Improvementv0.13· May 5, 2026

Calendar honors the 24h / AM·PM toggle

  • The hour ruler in the week view now follows the selected time format.
  • Event start times in the month and week views also switch between 24h and AM·PM.
Improvementv0.12· May 5, 2026

Current-time indicator in the week view

  • A red 'now' line is drawn on today's column in the weekly calendar and updates every minute.
Featurev0.11· May 5, 2026

Create events from overlap windows

  • Each best meeting window in the Overlap view now has a 'Create event' shortcut.
  • The new event opens pre-filled with the window's start/end time and every member available during that window.
Improvementv0.10· May 5, 2026

Single-organization membership

  • Each user can now belong to only one organization at a time.
  • Subteams remain unlimited inside that organization — a person can be in Marketing and Engineering simultaneously.
  • Invites to a second organization are blocked with a clear message until the user leaves their current one.
Featurev0.9· May 5, 2026

Custom subteams & unified filter

  • Admins (org creators) can now create, rename and delete their own subteams (Marketing, Engineering, Sales…) instead of using a fixed list.
  • Members can be allocated to one or more subteams from a single management dialog.
  • Replaced the row of team buttons with a single Filter popover supporting multi-select.
  • Event invites can now bulk-invite any custom subteam.
Featurev0.8· May 5, 2026

Events & Calendar (Google Calendar-style)

  • New Calendar view with Month and Week layouts.
  • Create events with title, link, description, date/time and duration.
  • Invite individual teammates or whole subteams in one click.
  • RSVP system with Yes / No / Maybe responses.
  • Shortcut: from a member's profile you can create an event that auto-invites you and them.
Improvementv0.7· May 5, 2026

Google Calendar connection guidance

  • Documented how to connect external calendars and surface them in PeerClock.
Fixv0.6· May 5, 2026

Overlap hover card no longer clipped

  • On the landing page, hovering an Overlap cell inside the Acme Inc. demo card no longer gets cut off by the card's edge — the tooltip now floats above all containers.
Designv0.5· May 5, 2026

Scroll reveal & timeline hover polish

  • Sections on the landing page now fade and rise into view as you scroll.
  • Hovering a teammate's availability bar in the dashboard now lifts and brightens it, and shows a tooltip with their local working window.
  • Inside the app, clicking the bar opens that teammate's profile.
