Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 5, 2026
1. Introduction
PeerClock ("we", "us") helps distributed teams coordinate across time zones. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, profile picture and timezone provided through Apple or Google sign-in.
- Workspace data: organizations, subteams, members, events, RSVPs and working hours you create in PeerClock.
- Usage data: basic logs (IP, device, browser) used to keep the service secure and reliable.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve PeerClock, authenticate you, display team availability, send transactional emails (such as invites and event notifications), and protect against fraud and abuse.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train third-party advertising models. We share data only with infrastructure providers needed to run the service (hosting, database, email delivery), under appropriate contractual safeguards.
5. Authentication
PeerClock supports SSO via Apple and Google. We never store passwords. The identity provider returns a verified email and basic profile, which we associate with your account.
6. Data retention
We retain your account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us; backups are purged on a rolling basis.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and row-level security on the database to protect your information.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email.
